There are weddings that feel like a celebration, and then there are weddings that feel like a beautiful escape. Nikos & Elvira’s wedding at Il Villagio was exactly that — a day that felt less like attending a wedding and more like spending the most wonderful vacation surrounded by your favorite people.

From the moment we arrived, Il Villagio created the feeling of being transported to an authentic Italian village. The architecture, the old windows, the beautiful stairs, the little corners and hidden spots, and the incredible colors all came together to create an atmosphere that felt timeless and completely unique. Everywhere we looked, there was another beautiful setting waiting to be photographed.

The colors of the day were simply fantastic. Combined with the warm architecture and the relaxed atmosphere, they created images full of character, life and emotion. But what made the day truly special was the feeling between Nikos, Elvira, their families and their friends. There was a sense of freedom and happiness throughout the entire celebration — the kind of atmosphere you experience when you are on holiday with the people you love most, with no schedules, no worries and nowhere else you need to be.

We were lucky enough to have plenty of time for photography and cinematography throughout the day. This allowed us to explore Il Villagio together with Nikos and Elvira and make the most of its incredible scenery. We wandered through its beautiful corners, photographed along the stairs, used the old windows and architecture as natural frames, and discovered little locations that felt as though they had been taken straight from an Italian countryside village.

As Beyondfilms, we had the pleasure of capturing both the photography and cinematography of their wedding. Our goal was not only to document how everything looked, but also how it felt — the laughter, the atmosphere, the connection between people, the colors, the movement and all those small moments that make a wedding truly yours.

Nikos & Elvira’s celebration was warm, colorful, relaxed and full of life. It was a day about being together, enjoying every moment and creating memories with the people who matter most.

We left Il Villagio with beautiful memories, hundreds of photographs and hours of footage — but most importantly, with the feeling that we had spent the day somewhere truly special.

We can’t wait to visit Il Villagio once again.
